For florists and experienced hobbyists, this is the program for you. Wiring flowers will take every still you have to the next level. From manipulating blooms or fixing broken ones, this is the class for you.
Class 14: Wiring Flowers for Head Wreaths, Boutonnieres & Corsages (June 21st 10:00am – 1:00pm)
In this class students learn how to choose flowers for boutonnieres, head wreaths and corsages based on longevity and appropriateness for each application. Hand-wiring techniques will be demonstrated for specific flower types and then applied to each application. Students will take home a head wreath, boutonniere and corsage as created in class.
Class 15: Cascading Bridal Bouquet (June 21st 2:00pm – 5:00pm)
Students will learn how to create a modern, cascading bridal bouquet incorporating hand-wired blossoms with natural blooms. Students will learn how to wire stems to create length, how to manipulate stems and blooms to feature a flower’s best features and how to create a lush, cascading bouquet to produce an overall dramatic effect. Students will take home their romantic bouquets!
