This year we students will experience a private workshop at Frida Kahlo’s Casa Azul (while closed to the public), eat at one of the world’s best restaurants, Pujol, and sail the historic canals of Xochimilco in a traditional Trajinera!

During this six-day excursion, led by Executive Director Calvert Crary, FlowerSchool participants will be immersed in the history and beauty of Dutch culture and florals with the Amsterdam cityscape and Aalsmeer countryside as our backdrops.
It is with great anticipation and excitement to announce our first annual trip to Japan! Traveling to Tokyo, Takayama and Kyoto, we will explore the rich culture of Japan from the busy cities to the quiet countryside. Highlights include a trip to the Ota Flower Market to discover the incredible Japanese blooms, historic gardens of Tokyo, traditional tea ceremonies, a stay in a historic ryokan, and private tours of Kyoto and Takayama!
