FlowerSchool NY offers classes ranging from beginner to advance. Whether you are interested in learning the basics of floral design, working with masters of floral design, or achieving a NYSED Certificate in Floral Design, FlowerSchool NY has an array of classes suitable for all. Students can expect to learn the NY method of design using only the highest quality fresh flowers where arrangements are created specifically to highlight each flower’s most beautiful and unique characteristics.
FlowerSchool offers three categories:

Recreational Classes
Beginners Open Studio
The Beginner’s Open Studio is for students interested creating a beautiful, seasonal arrangement while learning some tips and tricks of design. These short classes are a great way to get introduced to floral design and to FlowerSchool New York
Master Classes
Master Classes give students a unique opportunity to work on an intimate basis with some of the world’s most well-recognized and celebrated designers.These are one-time, two-hour classes geared towards all levels of skill where students get to take home their own arrangement full of luxurious flowers.
Workshops
Throughout the year, FSNY offers varying types of Workshops based on theme. Whether you are looking to learn wreath making for the holidays or an take in-depth course on seasonal bridal bouquets, FSNY offers a wide range of trend specific workshops to keep you on the cutting edge of design and style.
Foundation Classes & Programs
Floristry Skills
FlowerSchool offers several foundational series classes that focus on the fundamentals of floral design including Introductory, Intermediate and Advanced levels of design.
Students can expect to learn how to correctly handle and care for flowers, use tools such as a floral knife and clippers while creating a variety of high-end designs ranging from beginner to advanced. Theses series classes are for those looking to advance their floral design skills.
Floral Design Program
Certified by the New York State Board of Education, FlowerSchool New York’s Floral Design Program is a carefully designed series of courses that prepares students for a career in the floral design field. Incorporating techniques and business strategies from our distinguished master florists, the Floral Design Program teaches the best practices of the floral industry and includes an internship component for students to practice their newly learned techniques and skills in a real world setting.
Workshops

Online Classes & Flower Boxes
FlowerSchool is now offering the majority of our recreational and foundation programs online for you to enjoy in the comfort of your own home. For this programming, the flowers, tools and materials are shipped directly to your home. Students are invited to Zoom into the LIVE in-person lesson to learn hands-on the same skills and methods.
FlowerSchool can ship to the continental US and accepts students from abroad if able to source their own materials.
