Located in the heart of New York City, FlowerSchool New York is one of the most celebrated floral design schools in the world. FlowerSchool is the place to begin your floral education and exploration into the world of contemporary floral arranging.

Offering a vast array of floral design classes, FlowerSchool New York brings the most sought-after designers from all over the world to teach our uniquely comprehensive programs.

The Front Room

Upon entering our 7^th floor space, the bright and spacious front room lends itself to our masterclasses, and other intimate gatherings and events. FlowerSchool is honored to have partnered with top industry floral designers such as Kiana Underwood of Tulipina, Ingrid Carozzi of Tin Can Studios, Victoria Ahn of Designs by Ahn, and more.

The Sanctuary

This area serves as FlowerSchool’s sanctuary. This spacious 3000sft, naturally-lit, room is multifunctional as a floral design studio and an event space. The accommodating nature of this space is what makes it home to most of FlowerSchool’s classes, such as the advanced design program, beginners open studio, wedding and events planning, and much more.

ILA Penthouse & Garden

FlowerSchool’s Premeire event space, ILA Penthouse is THE venue for flower lovers and fun. With a separate bar room, 3000 ft dining room and 5000sf roof deck, we are sure to make your special event sing! Email hello@ila-penthouse.com for more information.

Our Mission

In our Chelsea venue, we offer a variety of classes encompassing the many facets of the floral industry. From beginners courses to full event planning sessions to advanced design programs, FlowerSchool aims to support one’s journey in the floral arts. We aim to celebrate great floral design and designers, to educate and teach students the best practices of design, and to help people live a richer life through flowers

Coming together with fellow designers and flower aficionados was the perfect thing to invigorate and reignite inspiration!

I truly appreciate that the staff at FlowerSchool cares about our success after graduation, and that you continue to try and help us land on our feet. I’m incredibly grateful for all of my experiences with the school thus far.

I took the professional program in 2015 and you were instrumental in helping me find a job in the floral industry. Since graduating from FlowerSchool I’ve been using all of my flower knowledge and have been working as an event producer at Bastille, and I am loving it!!
